Currently I am working on these two topics:
Spatial domain processing provides additional degrees of freedom that can dramatically improve the performance of wireless communication systems. We will consider the WCDMA receiver that includes a modified version of scalar VA-MLSE and Adaptive Antenna in its structure. The presented structure has a reduced complexity compared to ST-MLSE receiver, however, it might provide considerable performance improvements by efficient interference cancellation in space domain only, path diversity and noise reduction. The novel feature of the proposed reciever is the incorporation of SOVA decoder in its strucure and algorithm. Performance of the proposed reciever will be evaluated in the fast varying mobile channel by simulations.

of
urban radio channel with Ray Tracing Program
We can redefine all the channel parameters to include the spatial domain along with time and frequency domain in channel modeling. The study of the parameters, such as channel transfer function, channel Doppler spectrum, multipath intensity profile, frequency-time correlation function, scattering function, etc., in Space-Time-Frequency (STF) domain for MIMO radio channels are the main interest of this work. Besides, the impact on the system performances of the MIMO system will also be studied to determine whether to use spatial multiplexing or diversity through Space-Time (ST) Coding.
