There are 3 compulsory exercises:

1. Library exercise: Information for the new students can be found here. Read also the library quide. Registration for library exercises can be done in WebTopi or directly via email to Kirsi Heino. English library exercise times are 07.10; 10.15 13.10, 14.15 15.10, 10.15.

2. Study plan. See http://www.hut.fi/~sopinto/ or ask help from the Finnish speaking students. Return your study plan at latest 29.10.2004 to student advising office.

3. Written assignment. Written assignment will be done in groups of 2 students. All material and information provided from the course staff is in Finnish so it could be good idea to find a Finnish speaking pair. The exercise will be published at 7.10.04 and the written assignment must be returned no later than 29.10.2004.
