WORKSHOP - FALL 2005
Workshop on S-72.124 Product
Development of Telecommunication Systems will be arranged 28.11 - 2.12 in
Helsinki University of Technology. The workshop will be arranged in
co-operation with Teleste and Communications Laboratory. Case studies are
related to video monitoring and applications.
NEWS: Feedbacks are available at courses noticeboard (3'rd floor E-wing
- opposite of room E307.) One student from each group should pick up
feedbacks to their group. Please also sign your name on the list so the
other group members knows who has the feedbacks. Each group should also
add in Final Report B what kind of feedback your group has got and what
kind of improvements you have done (if any) to your solution.
NEWS: Information about final reports can be found here.
NEWS: The lecture hall of Final presentations is changed: Final
presentations will be in Hall S3, 10:00. Each presentation should last 15
minutes +5 minutes for discussion. The first presentation will start
at 10:05 (please don't be late...) and the last presentation
should end at 15:00.

Comments about Workshop results: The grading was
based on used innovation methods and how and what kind of result has
been managed to get. Also business-case analysis, (practical user)
cases and the understanding the used technology were important part of
grading. Some groups were a little bit lacking innnovation part and/or
practical approach (or implementation) were missing.
