Institute of Telecommunications

A new Institute of Telecommunications was founded in 1996 as "Joint area of responsibility" to represent jointly the interests of the Communications Laboratory (S-72) and the Laboratory of Telecommunications (S-38). The work has consisted of following important items:
  • Coordination of the teaching for academic year 1997-98.
  • Coordination of purchases of engineering work stations and other equipment, e.g. for ATM work.
