Telecommunication systems are a turbulent environment for product development. This places stringent challenges to the management of product development process. The primary objective of this course is to give a wide-perspective scope to the related process factors both in theory and in practice and to trace the state-of-the-art development. Course lecturers come from both universities and industry giving thus a theory and practice balancing touch for the lectures. The course includes an industry driven annual Workshop where various practical telecommunication product development case-studies are inspected.
Note that the course is lectured on the
second-half
spring term of 2005.
