Problem Based Learning

This is a form of tutored self-study. You will attend a group session every second week and study individually between the sessions. With the help of the group and a tutor you are expected to solve 4 real-life-like problems. This form of studying is much more effective than sitting at a lecture half-sleeping or just trying to memorize a book on your own, but the course is fairly short and intensive and active participation is expected .

Four study groups have now been opened for registration by webtopi . The group sessions are on odd numbered weeks (starting Jan. 29th or 30th). More groups may be created when needed (probably at the same times on even numbered weeks).

Self study
Even this will be somewhat problem based. Instead of a list of pages to read you are given a list of problems to solve as well as a list of recommended books and other source material.
Registration for the exam is done with Topi .
