Content:  Capacity limitations in cellular networks.     Increasing the radio link capacity with coding.     Turbo principle and its usage in decoding, equalization and multi-user detection.  Turbo coding and space-time codes.  Principles of multiple access interference cancellation, multi-user detection.  Requirements: The course is carried out with an exam, and home assignments. The exam requirements are the content of the course book and the student ability to solve exercises given during the tutorials.
